Following the decision to cut immigration levels in 2025, the federal government has allocated 4,750 nominees for Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program, down from 9,540 in 2024. According to Farm Credit Canada (FCC), demand for food and beverage manufacturing jobs in Canada declined in 2024 from 2023.
