The City of Prince Rupert has received $77 million from the federal Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund to replace aging water and sewage infrastructure and end boil water advisories. The overall project will cost around $200 million. The funding supplements the $65 million from the province of B.C. announced last year.
