The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, a hotel in Montréal, has temporarily closed for the holiday season. Six-hundred unionized employees have been affected by the measure, which is due to a labour dispute.

Chalets Lanaudière, a cottage rental company in Rawson, is spending more than $1M on adapting its accommodation offer and facilities for clients with disabilities. The three levels of government contributed to the project.
Hotel Mont Gabriel in Sainte-Adèle invested over $25M, including $5M from the Government of Quebec, in rebuilding the property following a fire. The hotel also has a number of positions to fill for its reopening this fall.
Noranda Hôtel & Spa in Rouyn-Noranda is investing $4M in new spa facilities. The Quebec government is contributing financially to the project, which will be completed in the fall.
