Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Retirement home. Tasks: Administer medications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child Abuse Registry check. Adult Abuse Registry check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
