*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site. *Duties* * Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads as required by project specifications. * Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes to ensure they are in good working condition. * Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment. * Communicate effectively with ground personnel using hand signals or radio communication. * Perform routine maintenance on cranes to ensure optimal performance. * Maintain accurate records of crane operations and any incidents that occur during operation. * Assist in rigging loads and ensuring proper balance before lifting. * Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required. *Requirements* * Valid crane operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent) is preferred. * Proven experience operating various types of cranes (e.g., hydraulic, tower, overhead). * Strong understanding of safety regulations related to crane operation. * Ability to read blueprints and understand load specifications. * Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills. * Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on-site. * Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
