We are currently accepting applications for a *Senior Accountant in Campbell River, BC*. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply! *What you will be doing:* * Collaborate with the Controller to manage and prepare financial statements and schedules for month end; * Prepare journal entries for business transactions and real estate acquisitions; * Review month end working papers prepared by the accounting team; * General ledger account analysis; * Financial analysis and management reporting; * Assist with various periodical reports and CRA tax filings; * Month end review and reporting for related entities, as assigned; * Assist in special projects as assigned; * Participate in continuous process improvement and team leadership. *What you need to bring:* * Advanced computer skills including MS Office and Excel; * Bachelor?s Degree, in business, accounting, finance or related discipline; * Minimum of 4 years experience in full cycle accounting or public practice; * Working towards or qualified CPA designation is an asset; * Experience leading teams; * Ability to make decisions and meet critical deadlines; * Ability to adapt and demonstrate resiliency in response to changing work demands; * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment; * Ability to develop and maintain relationships with project and company stakeholders; * Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-oriented approach; * Attention to detail with the ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy; * Strong prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and take responsibility for your work; * Ability to think creatively when problem solving, proactively adapting to challenges; * A high degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality. *What do we offer you?* Finding and keeping the right people is very important to us. The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000.00 depending on experience.
