*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, account reconciliation, and managing payroll processes. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage. The Financial Controller will work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial insights that drive the organization?s growth.
*Duties*
* Develop and manage the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain accurate financial records.
* Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
* Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for senior management review.
* Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Supervise payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
* Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
* Provide training and support to accounting staff on best practices in financial management.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in accounting/finance.
* Strong knowledge of budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
