*JOB POSTING* *MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL ALLIANCE * *STRATHROY MIDDLESEX GENERAL HOSPITAL* *POSTING #036-2025* *PART-TIME MEDICAL LABORATORY ASSISTANT * Position available immediately *Job Duties:* · Available for all shifts (7.5h) including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays · To provide assistance to the technologist with the performance of phlebotomy, clerical functions, and preparation of samples for analysis *Job Qualifications* * Must provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox) and verification of two COVID19 vaccinations * Must provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing within the previous 12 months * Graduate from an approved Medical Laboratory Assistant Program * MLPAO or CSMLS certification required * Member of CMLTO Voluntary Roster of Registered Medical Laboratory Technicians preferred * Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office * Phlebotomy experience * Ability to assess concurrent demands, set priorities, organize work and maintain accuracy in a busy environment. * Excellent communication skills (particularly oral/telephone) and critical thinking skills * Strong team player with the ability to perform duties independently and professionally * Evidence of ongoing professional development and self-directed learning * Demonstrated excellence in attendance * Understanding and demonstrated use of good body mechanics _\*The MHA is a __*FRAGRANCE REDUCED*_ _environment\*_ Qualified individuals interested in this opportunity may submit a resume using the online form.
