As part of delivering new initiatives/projects, you will be expected develop budgets and set schedules to achieve your goals. Collaborating well with Corporate IT/OT and local electrical engineering groups to implement local projects will contribute to your success at the company. *Job Overview & Responsibilities: * * Technical responsibility for Operational Technology (OT) control systems and electrical systems in a industrial manufacturing setting. * Programming capabilities on PLC and DCS control systems. * Design, develop and troubleshoot critical process control systems comprised of instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs and VFD drives. * Knowledge of electrical systems 120V to 115kV, switchgear, transformers, and motors. * Activities include preparing estimates, scopes of work, AutoCAD drawings and commissioning equipment * Implement the Jungbunzlauer Corporate strategy for automation as well as the ongoing development of IT/OT standards in coordination with the Chief Automation Officer and Global Competence Center IT / SAP. * Participation in IT/OT security audits and implementation of the resulting measures. * Support Engineering Team projects with regard to electrical installations and OT on DCS/PLC networks. * Coordinate and challenge external electrical and OT service providers. *Qualifications/ Requirements: * * Post-secondary education in electrical / automation technology or similar. * 5+ years of professional experience in a production-related plant or industrial plant construction. * Competent project manager able to drive performance and results * Interdisciplinary Industrial Electrical and OT experience * Experience with DCS/PLC automation systems. * Thorough comprehension of electrical / electronic / P&ID schematic diagrams and drawings. * Confident, collaborative personality with assertiveness, independence and initiative. * Agile team member able to lead initiatives across multiple departments. * Ability to communicate effectively in English.
