The RCMP hosts online and Mentor night sessions to support their recruitment. The next Mentor night is expected to occur at Buffalo Narrows, with dates to be determined.

The Government of Yukon will increase the Comprehensive Municipal Grant to $29.5M in its upcoming 2025-2026 budget. Individual municipalities will see their funding levels increased. The new Saskatchewan Marshals Service recruited 10 new police officers to start working later this year after completing seven weeks of training. The new service aims to support RCMP and other law enforcement to address rural crime. The Saskatchewan Marshals Service will be fully operational in 2026 with a team of 70 marshals.
The Northwest Territories is opening its territorial nominee program for one week, from February 27 to March 6. Due to reduced immigration quotas, 90 nominees will be chosen randomly from those who apply, in addition to 60 retained from last year.
